During younger years ( < 40 yrs )

Minimise damage for the future

Maturing years ( 40 - 50 yrs )

Give emphasis on to prevention of chronic disabling illeness, such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, ischaemic heart and brain disease-Seek medical advice early and moderate life style.

Pre-retirement ( 50 - 60 yrs )

Plan retirement, making provision for financial short falls and psychological fears to reduce stress ; emphasise physical and mental fitness.

Middle age ( 60 - 85 / 90 yrs )

Add life to years. Giving emphasis to the Quality of life will push back old age.

Old age ( 85... 90... 90+ yrs )

Be content with your lot. Welcome support from family members, friends, religious organisations and voluntary groups. Accept limitations with grace. Dissatisfication and grumbling are counter-productive. Lift your mood by reflecting on lifetime achievements.
